Jeff Walker Launch Blueprint videos

Jeff Walker Launch Blueprint

If you’d prefer to watch Jeff Walker’s Launch Blueprint from your PC/MAC, and slightly bigger (it stretches without too much quality loss) rather than streaming every time you want to watch it, and kill Jeff’s server, join my list;

I’ll try to make it worth joining for other reasons too ;-)

Email autoresponders that beat spam filters

How to Join Aweber bulk email mass autoresponderIt’s quite difficult to run an on-line business without needing a bulk email program.

Even if your web business is mainly a forum, or shop, or blog,or training course, or even a web 2.0 social video portal, at some stage you will probably need to email your entire client list.

Sure you can do that with your dial-up or ADSL account, private email account, and even use a reply to which is even your business email, so it will appear to nearly everyone, that is your business email. (The truth does lie in the email headers, should any one care to look)

You can even, if you’re lucky and your host lets you (though many do not and the rest often limit throughput to 100 per hour to stop spam and many don’t tell yo about that either) send your emails via an SMTP mail straight from your domain name server.

But the trouble with both of these methods is Read the rest of this entry »

Important news for Non USA Amazon Affiliates

How to stop losing money as an affiliate on Amazon Associates.

I guess it should have been obvious to me, but it hasn’t stopped me losing money!

Not all affiliate schemes are “international”!

So what I mean by that is that Amazon needs a separate Associates ID and accounting for each territory. So you can’t have USA links/products/prices on your UK associate ID. The links work, but you simply WILL NOT GET PAID!

Now this isn’t a problem if you use Amazons own services to create your widgets and links and so on for your blog “manually”. Naturally each territories associate scheme creates links with the current logged in associates ID (you).

The problem is that 99.9% of all automated scripts out there are USA centric, to follow the 70% of USA biased web traffic. So for instance any HyperVRE templates, or YouTube clone scripts which include Amazon ads, are made for the USA market and hence need a USA associates ID.

So if you have any Read the rest of this entry »

A Reiki Interview

Here is an interesting interview about Reiki energy and healing between a Reiki master and the “Let’s Talk Paranormal” show host.

In it they discuss how Reiki, as a form of energy, can be used to heal remotely (even across the world), or in person (by proximity or by touch).

The point about being able to send this Reiki energy both in space and in time is fairly mind blowing. The nice point here is that while it can not change the past (or the future) it can change your perception of it, on how it impacts on you, “now”, or in the future.

So if you had a bad Read the rest of this entry »

Amy Winehouse vs Amy Winehouse

I’m not a fan of Amy Winehouse as an artist. No doubt she is talented but I don’t find her vocals entertaining. The classic difference between precission and emotion probably.
Her road to self ruin seems to hit the tabloids regularly and naturally I find it sad that someone with talent, and presumably the advantages of money and doing something she enjoys and having the responsibility as a creative to enrich peoples lives, she still feels the need, and/or pressure, to “escape” in the ways she apparently does.

Anyway here is a video parody inspired by her, done by a guy in drag (naturally).
The stereotypes of the drug dudes seems questionable to me, but I guess they had no problems in acting the part.

LMK If you think this is entertaining. You can comment below, as well as rating on the video itself of course.

SERP is dead. Long live SERP.

It had to happen! It hasn’t quite happened yet, but the tide is certainly going to change at some time.

Google, once the darling of every SEO guru, is starting to lose its strangle hold on SERP. More accurately all SERP is starting to lose its stranglehold on your web presence.

Already several blogs are reporting that they are getting more unique hits (traffic) from social media portals and directories, than they are from organic search. In some case 150% more traffic, and that’s already, as of this month.

Then of course there’s the new marketing buzz word, video.

Little wonder then that Google paid so much for YouTube, bought Feedburner (a blog RSS feed aggregation service) and proposed the Open Social Media standard for making social sites (like their own Orkut, the legendary MySpace and the upstart Facebook) all work together.

“Do not be surprised if social bookmark sites start selling for really, really, silly money!” says Peter Buick.

The bottom line, is the most organic search tool is Read the rest of this entry »
