When I reported the first viral cheaters to StumbleUpon, they never had the courtesy to answer and they took no action on the site either. So I guess it is fair game to reward StumbleUpon fans for their favour.
Mind you that site didn’t frame it in that same positive manner either, it was an out and out bribe! You couldn’t even buy the free product. The only way to get it was to vote.
