I think I see the underlying trend here.

“Do what you love, love what you do”

People who try to follow the gold mine golden nuggets will eventually find out that all the good ones have been dug up (sifted) already. And just like the exhausted gold mines of the past, the last money making action was to sell the deeds of an exhausted mine to the next hopeful, before it was common knowledge the gold had all gone, bar a few planted twinkly things.

(Nobody mention Stomper web 2.0 training here… see my post on Web 3.8 if you lost)

The people who are successful seem to be people who “do”, because they know what they have to do, they want to do it, it is about something they love, like or believe in.

Certainly in sales, the top guys are always “passionate” about what they do (at least outwardly) and I’m sure we’d all prefer to buy from Richard Branson than Marvin the paranoid android from Hitchhikers. (Was he paranoid or just depressed?)

If it is a medium term project with medium term input required (ie posting/writing each day, or finding products/affiliates each week), then it has to be about something you are genuinely interested in.

And then the old adage (and Law Of Attraction principle) comes in to play, doesn’t it..
“If you can honestly say you are, it becomes so”, whereas if you say you are everything to all people, no one believes you.

I think the “list” will buy in to your genuine emotional interest and knowledge of a topic. If you fake it to follow a GRQ niche, it seems the odds are stacked well against you.

It’s also interesting that most of the GRQ products/schemes offered, including WSOs, are to other hopeful IM’ers. They are all how to, not why or what, other than on “how to”.

Any one see a parallel with selling the deeds to the exhausted gold mine?

Naturally I’m not knocking genuine training which teaches someone new how to. But most of these offers are not training, they are GRQ.

In fact, isn’t MRR and PLR in itself, usually selling the dream of dreaming?

aka “What can I sell?
Yes sell the concept of what can I sell! Your buyers can sell it on…

(having a conceptual and soul searching moment…)
