Virgin Media fopah 2:

There’s a reason why people don’t like corporates and the furony.com is its partly because they become so monolithic, unresponsive, and often just plain “stupid”, that people start to AVOID their brand.
Historically Richard Branson has been the corporate sweetheart of the public, largely because of his apparent “human” nature of his “stunts” like ballooning. Not to mention the alien fiasco which caused major hold ups on motorways, when he pretended to be an alien space ship.
But Branson’s empire is far from immune to the DISEASE of corporate unresponsiveness.
It also raises issues of the politics of take overs and absorbing the internal diseases of those one absorbs.
The biggest furony.com of course, is that corporates spend millions on researching public opinion, measuring brand image and performing market research on what potential customers want from them next.
And yet, there isn’t even one person allocated to sorting out customer care issues. So when existing clients have major problems and are having to threaten to take legal action, and still being ignored, perhaps their brand consultant team needs to consider looking inside the jar sometime, and not just outside of it.
Virgin Media needs to take a serious look at its own house.
Virgin Media needs to start listening to its customers and their complaints and start resolving their issues.
